Rena Systems Introduces
New Conveyor Mounted IR Drying Systems.
OAKS, Pennsylvania –

– Rena
Systems, Inc., has announced the introduction of its new IR7C, IR1K,
and IR2K infrared drying systems for their line of Hewlett-Packard
Thermal Inkjet based printers. Nick von der Wense, president of Rena
Systems, stated, “These are powerful, yet efficient drying units
that mount onto our popular conveyors.”
William Longua, director of product marketing at Rena Systems added,
“The new dryers use a medium-wave output of about 3 microns. This
means the dark pigments in our inks are targeted, so it heats the
ink, and not the piece, which results in faster speed and increased
productivity.”
The three new drying systems each offer advantages. The IR7C is an
efficient 700-watt unit for the TB-399 that actually outputs more
energy than the 18” dryer offered by the competition. The IR1K is a
960-watt dryer that outputs an astounding 45% more BTUs than the 18”
dryer offered by the competition. The IR2K is a powerhouse with 1800
watts, which offers 15% more drying area and 35% more BTUs than the
36” dryer offered by the competition. They are specifically
designed to maximize substrate adhesion for inkjet printers
utilizing Hewlett-Packard's ubiquitous Thermal Inkjet technology,
like the printer line RENA Systems carries.
